Congratulations on your engagement.
It is an exciting time.
Here are some of the items that we can help you with to celebrate.
One of the many things to consider is… will we have an engagement party?
If you are having a three month engagement as John and I did, then just planning the wedding will keep you on your toes! If your engagement is longer, you may decide to throw a party and we'd be delighted to help out.
A Save-the-Date card is good for any of the following reasons. Your wedding is a long time away. Your wedding is going to be overseas. The wedding is on a long weekend, close to Easter, or it's the week before or after Christmas.
But you may choose not to send out Save-the-Dates if your wedding is local, your family and friends don't need to travel far, or the wedding is small. Simply send your wedding invitations out in a timely fashion.
Will you be my Bridesmaid?
So who are you going to ask? One of my brides told me that she got so excited when he popped the question, that after a few celebratory drinks, she texted her girlfriends "Am getting hitched, will you be my bridesmaid?" Eighteen said "Yes". Which made for quite an interesting time, but that is another story. Once you have chosen who to ask, we can help out with a card that makes it official.
